Terms of service

1. The service

NodeCar lets you build and run a car dealership website: a vehicle list, vehicle pages, an inquiry form, your own pages and sections from a ready-made library, in the languages you choose. The site runs on yourname.nodecar.eu or on your own domain.

The service can include integrations: importing your stock from ABManager, showing Google reviews and connecting your own domain. The service is provided over the internet as it currently stands; we may develop and change features and will tell you in advance about any significant reduction.

2. Account

You need an email address and a password to register. You must confirm your email before publishing the site and before paying. You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for activity in your account. One account belongs to one dealer.

Account and billing details must be true. If they change, update them in the settings.

3. Free trial

After registering you have 30 days free, without entering a payment card. During the trial the site is available on its nodecar.eu address as a preview: it shows an information bar and search engines do not index it.

If you choose a plan during the trial, the site goes live at once and the payment is taken only when the trial ends. If you do not choose a plan, you have another 30 days to pay after the trial; then the site is switched off (see section 6).

4. Plans and prices

Subdomain: 2.90 € a month or 29 € a year. Own domain: 9.90 € a month or 99 € a year. Custom solution: a one-off price according to the agreed offer (from 499 €), plus the Own domain plan.

All prices include VAT. Businesses with a valid VAT ID from an EU country other than Slovakia pay without VAT (reverse charge). We check the VAT ID in the EU VIES system when you enter it and again before each renewal; if it stops being valid, further payments include VAT and we let you know by email.

5. Payments, renewal and cancellation

Payments are processed by Stripe. You can pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Card details are stored by Stripe, not by us. Every payment comes with an invoice, available in your billing settings.

The subscription renews automatically for the next period (month or year) until you cancel it. You can change or cancel your plan at any time in your billing settings; a cancelled plan runs until the end of the paid period, and no refund is given for a started period unless the law says otherwise.

A custom solution is invoiced separately with a one-off invoice according to the offer agreed with a NodeCar manager.

6. Unpaid payments and switching the site off

If a payment fails, you have 30 days to pay; we send reminders during that time. After that the site is switched off: visitors see a notice that the site is temporarily unavailable, and only billing stays available in your account. Once paid, the site is switched on again.

We keep the data of a switched-off site for 12 months and email you a warning 30 days before deletion. If you do not pay by then, we permanently delete the site, its database and uploaded files; records we must keep by law (such as invoices) remain.

7. Your content

You are responsible for the content of your site (texts, photos, logos, vehicle and price details). You must have the right to use it, and it must be true and lawful, in particular under consumer protection and advertising rules.

You may not place unlawful content, content infringing the rights of others, or harmful code on the site. If you do, we may remove the content or suspend the site and will tell you why.

To run the service you grant us a non-exclusive right to store your content, adapt it as technically necessary (for example resize photos) and show it on your site. If you join the showcase on nodecar.eu (only with your consent and our approval), we may show your site's name, address and a photo.

8. Integrations

ABManager: on your instruction we sign in to ABManager with your login and read your offers every 15 minutes, including photos, which we store on our server. Your login is stored encrypted. We change nothing in ABManager. When you disconnect, we delete the login; vehicles already loaded stay on the site but stop updating.

Google reviews: on your instruction we show your business's reviews from Google (Places API) and refresh them daily, following Google's terms including attribution.

Own domain: you own the domain and pay your registrar for it. You set the DNS records following our guide; we provide the secure certificate (https) automatically. While the domain points to NodeCar and you have the Own domain plan, your nodecar.eu address forwards visitors to it.

9. Availability and liability

We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee it; outages can happen during maintenance or for reasons beyond our control. We back up data regularly.

We are not liable for content you add, for third-party services (such as ABManager, Google or your domain registrar) or for lost profit. Where the law allows such a limit, our liability towards businesses is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months. Consumer rights are not affected.

10. Consumers

If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of concluding it without giving a reason, by email to info@nodecar.eu. If you asked for the paid service to start during that period, you pay a proportionate part of the price for the time until withdrawal.

We handle complaints by email at info@nodecar.eu. Consumers may also turn to an alternative dispute resolution body or to the European Commission's ODR platform.

11. Personal data

How we process personal data is described in the privacy policy. For the data of your site's visitors you are the controller and NodeCar is the processor; the terms of that processing (data processing agreement) are part of the privacy policy and of these terms.

12. Ending the contract and final provisions

You can end the contract at any time by cancelling your subscription or by writing to info@nodecar.eu. We may end it for a serious breach of these terms or with 30 days' notice by email.

We will tell you about changes to these terms by email at least 30 days in advance; if you do not agree, you can end the contract. The contract is governed by the law of the Slovak Republic. Contact: info@nodecar.eu.
